回温探親 - 中餐篇

十一月尾,回温哥華與家人共聚一星期。每次回來,皇帝蟹是晚飯必吃首選!

今次和Mr. Dolphin家人光顧了兩次中餐,試了兩款蟹蟹,第一款是平常吃的亞拉斯加皇帝蟹,第二款是新嘗試的俄羅斯皇帝蟹。除了後者磅數較大、份量較多,其實俄羅斯皇帝蟹的肉質比亞拉斯加皇帝蟹更鮮甜,更捧。因為清蒸,吃的時候更能感受到每口蟹肉的彈牙可口,連並非蟹痴的海豚兒亦大為欣賞。

包括手撕雞、蒸魚(海豚兒爸爸至愛)、菜、酥皮西米焗布甸



晚飯閒聊間,繼母說"妳爸爸的名言是「不吐不快」,而我就幫他多加一句「你快我不快」!" 海豚兒覺得繼母說的太對了,她也實在太了解她的丈夫,海豚兒的爸爸了! 許多時,話說了出來對事情沒有半點幫助之餘,更會傷害到人,何必呢?

俄羅斯皇帝蟹




仲有象拔、海豚兒大愛-蒸豆腐...至於豆腐頂著的帶子,海豚兒就無興趣,留給Mr. Dolphin 好了。還有,頭抽蟹身也很香口,整體水準也非常高!

海豚兒很喜歡在温巿飲茶,水準高之餘,款式選擇亦多,每次都食到"肚滿腸月巴"! 


 

 
 












總括來說,温哥華中餐水準真的很高,住在這兒的華人是挺有口福的!

  1. 我今年都喺温哥華食過兩次阿拉斯加蟹,正到暈。有朋友都有提過蘇聯蟹,叫我去試吓喎。
    住喺嗰度嘅人好有口福,你喺多倫多都唔錯呀。

    1. 咁妳下次一定要試下另一隻蟹呀! 絶對值得一試架! 不過,個蟹名好鬼異,有時叫俄羅斯,有時叫韓國?! Mr. Dolphin媽媽話大概四、五月當造 ^^
      多倫多都OK,中餐、港式都一定好過美國嘅! 得閒多D嚟啦!

  3. 見到乳鴿先醒起我今次番去冇食到丫....宜家好想食呀~!!!
    不吐不快 - ...其實我都學緊忍口講少幾句.....不過有時真係唔係咁易架嘛~!
    今日呢邊好凍凍...見到就好想食湯丸了~~~~

    1. 咦! 過幾日咪會見到涼粉子嘅乳鴿食譜^^,希望倫敦餐廳有得食,可以"頂"住先啦!
      海豚兒爸爸說話係無filter架,例如佢會對住個多年無見嘅細姪女話"嘩! 嘜你肥成咁架!" @_@!

    個西米布甸我以為係蘋果批黎tim
    見到D點心好吸引,正過香港好多酒樓喎

    1. Mr. Dolphin是百分百純天然香港製造 ^^
      我以為係雞批,不過個酥皮好好味,好似食緊酥皮蛋撻。
      所以去温哥華最鍾意食點心,正!

  7. Everything looks super tasty! I would love to try the durian treats. One of my favorite fruits! Thankfully I can get quality dim sum too if we drive about 40 minutes to Chinatown. Can't take that for granted!

    1. I know and I honestly think Vancouver has the best oriental/Chinese food. I tried durian a couple of times but never enjoyed it. ;)
      I love dim sum very much and I particularly enjoy the new style dim sum.

    2. I am a dim sum lover too! We used to have dim sum with my mom every Sunday. Can't do this here now :(
      People tend to either love or hate durians. Too bad Brandon doesn't have any love in them, hehe! But I make him eat it anyway! ;)

    3. It doesn't matter how much I enjoy dim sum, I try not to go too often. The food can be a bit oily sometimes @_@! Hahaha. You are too funny and I can't believe Brandon would budge

    4. He calls durians "rotten onions"! I do find Chinese food here to be more oily/ greasy here in general. My mom scared me they cook with pig grease here, hahaha!

    5. Lol! I think it smells like disposed food. I believe some of the cooks here are not as skillful as the ones in HK. Therefore, they put more oil, spices, and even msg to make the dishes more tasty. :(
